Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

The terms that govern your use of SIP Egypt’s SIP trunking, DID numbers, and AI voice agent platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SIP Egypt platform, including our website, SIP trunking services, Egypt DID numbers, AI voice agents, and related dashboards (together, the “Services”), provided by SIP Egypt (“SIP Egypt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you’re using the Services on behalf of a business, you confirm you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

2. Description of Services

SIP Egypt provides carrier-grade SIP trunking, local and nationwide DID (phone number) provisioning, and multilingual AI voice agents, delivered as a cloud-based platform for business call handling. Specific features, supported languages, and integrations available to you depend on your subscription plan, as described on our Pricing page.

We may add, modify, or discontinue features of the Services over time. We’ll make reasonable efforts to notify customers of material changes that affect their use of the Services.

3. Accounts & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Services. You’re responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at info@sipegypt.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current information when creating an account and to keep it up to date, particularly billing and contact information used for service-related notices.

4. Fees, Billing & Free Trial

Fees for the Services are set out on our Pricing page and, where applicable, in your specific order or quote. Unless stated otherwise:

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly, unless otherwise agreed).
  • Per-minute or per-call charges (for SIP trunking usage beyond plan allowances) are billed in arrears based on metered usage.
  • Currency and taxes: Fees are quoted in EGP unless otherwise specified, and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated.
  • Free trials: A free trial, where offered, converts to a paid subscription automatically at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before it ends.
Failure to pay fees when due may result in suspension or termination of Services. We may change our fees with at least 30 days’ notice before the change takes effect for existing customers.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk calls, robocalls, or spam that violates applicable Egyptian telecommunications regulations or the do-not-call preferences of recipients.
  • Engage in toll fraud, spoofing, caller ID manipulation for deceptive purposes, or any other fraudulent telecom activity.
  • Transmit unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or fraudulent content through calls placed via the platform.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to SIP Egypt’s infrastructure, other customers’ accounts, or underlying systems.
  • Resell or sublicense the Services without our prior written consent, except where explicitly permitted under a reseller agreement.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, with or without notice depending on severity, and to report unlawful activity (such as suspected fraud) to the relevant Egyptian authorities where required.

6. AI Voice Agent & Call Recording

Our AI voice agents process live call audio in real time to understand and respond to callers, and may record and/or transcribe calls handled through the platform for quality, training, and dispute-resolution purposes, depending on your plan settings.

  • Your responsibility as the customer: If applicable law in your jurisdiction or your callers’ jurisdiction requires notifying callers that a call may be recorded or handled by an automated system, you are responsible for ensuring that notice is given (for example, via an announcement at the start of the call). We can help configure such announcements but cannot guarantee compliance with every local requirement on your behalf.
  • AI accuracy: AI-generated responses are produced by automated systems and, while configured using information you provide about your business, may occasionally be inaccurate. You’re responsible for reviewing and correcting the AI agent’s knowledge base and for monitoring call outcomes for accuracy, particularly for information that could affect a customer’s decisions (pricing, availability, appointment details).

7. DID Numbers & Number Porting

DID numbers provisioned through SIP Egypt remain the property of the underlying telecom carrier and are made available to you for use during your active subscription, subject to Egyptian numbering regulations. If you cancel your subscription, associated numbers may be released and made available for reassignment after a notice period stated in your plan.

Porting an existing number into or out of SIP Egypt is subject to the receiving or losing carrier’s requirements and processing times, which are outside our direct control. We’ll assist with the porting process but cannot guarantee a specific completion date.

8. Service Availability & SLA

We target a 99.9% uptime for core platform infrastructure, as referenced on our website, measured on a monthly basis and excluding scheduled maintenance (which we’ll notify customers of in advance where practical) and events outside our reasonable control (force majeure, upstream carrier outages, internet service provider failures).

Specific SLA credits or remedies, if any, are set out in your plan or a separate SLA agreement, where applicable. The Services are provided on an “as available” basis beyond the stated uptime target, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation at all times.

9. Intellectual Property

SIP Egypt retains all rights, title, and interest in the Services, including our platform software, AI models and configurations, dashboards, branding, and documentation. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Services — only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them as intended during your subscription.

You retain ownership of your own business data, call content, and any custom configurations you input into the platform (such as your AI agent’s knowledge base).

10. Data & Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data in connection with the Services is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Services, you also agree to that Privacy Policy.

If you use the Services to process personal data belonging to your own customers or callers, you’re responsible for having a lawful basis to do so under Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and any other applicable law, and for your own privacy notices to those individuals.

11. Third-Party Services

The Services may rely on or integrate with third-party infrastructure and tools — including underlying telecom carriers, cloud hosting providers, AI/language model providers, and CRM or calendar integrations you choose to connect. We select these providers carefully, but we’re not responsible for outages, errors, or data handling practices of third-party services outside our direct control, beyond our obligations under applicable law.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Egyptian law, SIP Egypt and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, including lost profits, lost business, or lost data, even if we’ve been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Services is limited to the fees you paid to SIP Egypt in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, except where such limitation is not permitted by law (for example, in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SIP Egypt harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law, including telecom and data protection regulations.

14. Suspension & Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle unless otherwise agreed. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services immediately if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay outstanding fees, or engage in activity that poses a security or legal risk to SIP Egypt or other customers.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends, and we may delete your account data after a reasonable retention period described in our Privacy Policy, except where we’re required to retain it by law.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Services or legal requirements. We’ll post the updated Terms on this page with a new “Last updated” date, and for material changes, we’ll make reasonable efforts to notify active customers by email. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection law.
